My name is Guillaume Simioni. I became a photographer in 2002 the day I visited Uluru, also named Ayers Rock, in central Australia. Not that I knew how to take a picture - that came later - but something resonated with that incredible place.
I do not know why I need to take pictures, I do not know why I need to travel, and I do not know why I care so much for nature. All I know is that sometimes it all seems to come together through pictures. When I am traveling, I feel like being on two journeys: the physical one, and its mirror, the internal one.
Hopefully my photographs will portray both.
